Mod-Chip Install Guide

Before you buy your mod-chip please read the "Which chip do I need guide", as purchasing the wrong mod-chip will result in buying a second correct mod-chip later.

There are many types of mod-chip out there and each have their own unqiue installiation method.

They will all involve opening the wii console and then either soldering or clipping on the mod-chip to the main circuit board. Please follow the standard method of opening you wii console and then select the appropriate guide for your chip.

What you need before you start

1. Time.

2. Nice flat surface (kitchen table)

3. Small phillips screwdriver.

4. Triwing screwdriver.

5. Mod-Chip.

6. Small electrical wire / Wii-Clip.

7. Soldering Iron (if you are hardwiring it in)

8. More time.

9. Ideally a anti-static band
